When CD Projekt Red released the update with version 1.1 to Cyberpunk 2077, they solved a lot of problems for the players. Unfortunately, the update also introduced a critical, game-stopping bug that stopped some players from continuing the story.
CD Projekt Red confirmed the new bug in a flash and has been working on a solution. On January 28, version 1.11 was released, a small hotfix that only fixes the specific bug in question.
More specifically, it is about the assignment Down on the Street where a holo call can not be received correctly. And since the call is necessary to propel the action forward, the player is completely stranded. Not the best that can happen then.
Thankfully, we have a quick solution and affected players can quickly get started again with the story.
Cyberpunk 2077 had its fair share of problems from the beginning and version 1.1 was the first major attempt to fix the game (and the confidence of the players).
In a few weeks we can expect the next major update with version 1.2. Where 1.1 laid the foundation for all upcoming updates, 1.2 is even bigger and more focused on bug fixes, performance and fixing everything small that makes up for it.
