Deutsche Telekom is giving away additional data volume to its mobile customers in the new year. This time it’s only the usual 500 MB again, but they also help to get by with the monthly data volume.
Deutsche Telekom has you Data gift not left behind in the old year: In January 2021, the company is again giving away additional data volume to its customers: 500 MB is again, which is not earth-shattering and certainly not compared to the 100 GB additional volume given in December, the monthly data account but still improve something.
Conditions for data gifts remain unchanged in the new year
The prerequisites for taking advantage of the data gift will remain unchanged in 2021: the 500 additional MB of data volume can be added via the app My magenta (Affiliate link), which customers can use to configure their cell phone tariff.
However, some customer groups are still excluded from participating in the campaign.

You can participate if you have a Telekom mobile phone contract with a minimum contract term that includes data volume for surfing. Exceptions are all mobile phone tariffs that were concluded before 2011, business tariffs, pure data tariffs, CombiCards and the Family Card Basic.
The data gift has been running for several years and has been renewed every month since then, so customers can currently expect 500 MB additional data volume per month with every contract.
