TikTok has received an official Windows app. It works for both Windows 10 and the upcoming Windows 11 – and you can download it to your computer directly via the Microsoft Store.

The same functionality as the mobile apps
The TikTok app is a so-called Progressive Web App (PWA) that offers the same functionality as the mobile apps for Android and iOS.
You can install the app via the Microsoft Store for both Windows 10 and Windows 11. And later, you will also be able to install the Android version in Windows 11 if you prefer.
In addition to watching TikToks as others have done, you can of course log in and upload your own if you want.
TikTok for Windows has no dark mode
It is worth mentioning that the PWA app, on the other hand, does not have a dark mode, also called Dark Mode. That may not be the most important thing, but it’s worth highlighting if anyone is looking for that setting.
