Can we expect Carnival Row Season 2?

In July of 2019, Amazon announced it would renew the show for a second season. The news broke through the official Carnival Row Twitter account. Reports suggest the series will begin production in November of 2019 taking the crew to different locations besides studios in the Czech Republic. There were eight episodes in the first season of Carnival Row, and each one lasted between 50 and 67 minutes. So we may see the same or even more episodes in the second season depending on the plot.

When will Carnival Row Season 2 be released?

Although the show’s filming was stopped midway in March of 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there is still no official release date for Carnival Row Season 2. Series one’s showrunner, Marc Guggenheim, has left the show to focus on other projects he has already underway. A new showrunner, Erik Oleson, has been hired, bringing his experience from show running the third season of Netflix’s Daredevil.

Travis Beacham, one of the show’s creators, has left the production, citing creative differences.
