Total War: Warhammer III – the last part of an acclaimed trilogy from Creative Assembly – will be released in 2021. They confirm Sega who publishes the game.
The new game introduces several new races and areas that were previously only hinted at in the previous games. The conflict is drawn further into areas such as Realms of Chaos and Lands of the East, and the range of playable characters is greater than ever.
The new races in Total War: Warhammer III are Kislev and Cathay, as well as the Chaos factions Khorne, Nurgle, Slaanesh and Tzeentch.
In a statement, the game’s producer Ian Roxburgh says that the vision from the beginning was to create a series that gave the feeling of a fantastic journey through a world that everyone loved.
The enormous support of our players in ensuring the success of the first two installments has pushed our ambition to new heights, and we can not wait for everyone to experience it.
In Total War: Warhammer III you get the opportunity to either save or use a dying god for your own purposes. Each playable race has its own, unique story and everything culminates in an epic crescendo at the end of the trilogy.
Total War: Warhammer III is initially released for PC. Later in 2021 it will also be released for macOS and Linux.
