If you have a subscription to Xbox Game Pass, everything in EA Play is now included. A terribly good addition that adds great value to Microsoft’s game subscription service.
This applies to you who have Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or PC. From March 18, 2021, you get full access to all games in EA Play at no extra cost.
It’s about “more than 60 of EA’s biggest and best PC games“. Among other things, the Battlefield and The Sims series are included, which alone are terribly enticing additions.
Want to play Star Wars: Squadrons on launch day? Congratulations, that game is also included in the Xbox Game Pass nowadays!
Other important benefits are that players who link their Xbox account with an EA account (and use EA’s gaming client) can get member-exclusive content there as well. Rewards and discounts are also available via EA’s own, digital store.
This is one of several really big changes from Microsoft that will attract gamers to the Xbox series. Most recently, almost all Bethesda titles were added to the Xbox Game Pass after Microsoft bought the game publisher.
And Microsoft has also highlighted eleven other game titles coming to Xbox Game Pass in March:
- Undertale
- Empire of Sin
- Kidney: Automata
- Torchlight III
- Genesis Noir
- Octopath Traveler
- Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire – Ultimate Edition
- Supraland
- Yakuza 6: The Song of Life
- Narita Boy
- Outriders
As if that were not enough, you can expect the following also in the form of game expansions:
- Minecraft x Uniqlo Skin Pack, Vol.2
- Sea of Thieves Third Anniversary Event
- The Outer Worlds: Murder on Eridanos DLC
Absolutely crazy much content then. You can read more about the upcoming games and exact dates here.
