Microsoft now announces that 2022 will be the year when Internet Explorer becomes a browser that more or less dies, there are better alternatives today.
Once upon a time, Internet Explorer was the largest and for a while the only browser, but that was a long time ago and now there are many other and much better options.
Microsoft announces now that as of June 20, 2022, they will no longer support Internet Explorer, which means no more updates or the like, Microsoft then urges everyone who uses Internet Explorer today to switch to another more modern browser, such as Microsoft’s new browser Edge.
Microsoft has released a small timeline for Internet Explorer that shows that Microsoft 365 will stop supporting Internet Explorer as early as August 17 this year.
