Fitbit Ace 3 is a new activity bracelet aimed at really young users. The model is child-friendly with a durable exterior and long battery life of up to eight hours.
The new model is really water resistant and has a rubberized exterior that will withstand even a little tougher games.
The screen is touch-friendly and there are also pressure-sensitive buttons on the sides for easy navigation.
In Fitbit Ace 3, you get many of the functions from the previous model Ace 2. Among other things, really good activity measurement and the opportunity for parents to control the content of the activity bracelet via a mobile app.
Fitbit Ace 3 also has extra long battery life – as much as 60 percent better than Ace 2.
With eight hours per charge, there is not as great a risk that the activity bracelet dies during the day. Ace 2 only lasted up to five hours, which is significantly less.
What is missing, however, are heart rate monitors that Fitbit has in most other activity bracelets on the market. The more advanced measurement methods that are more suitable for adult users have also been removed.
A nice thing about Ace 3 is that the parents can program the activity bracelet with reminders about, for example, training, homework and when the child should go to bed. There is also movement motivation with different goals and simple statistics on an information page where children and adults can follow movement progress.
Finally, it can be mentioned that the activity bracelet has many child-friendly dials that are a little more exciting and fun than the classic watch.
The approximate price for the Fitbit Ace 3 is around a thousand kroner. The model is slightly more expensive than the Ace 2, but the benefits outweigh the small increase.
