Apple releases watchOS 7.2 for all users

Apple has just released watchOS 7.2 for all users. The update can then be loaded and installed immediately. watchOS 7.2 brings among other things the system requirements for the use of Apple Fitness +. However, this service is only available in a few selected markets for the time being. With the update to watchOS 7.2, Apple is also adding support for the new high-end AirPods Max headphones, which will start shipping tomorrow.

Apple has just released the update to watchOS 7.2 for all users to download. This major update was preceded by various beta versions.
In order to start installing the update to watchOS 7.2, the Apple Watch must be placed on the charger, the battery of the watch must be charged to at least 50% and the Apple Watch must be connected to the same WiFi as the paired iPhone. If the download is not yet available for you at the beginning, be patient. The updates will be rolled out in waves.

watchOS 7.2 enables the use of Apple Fitness + and the AirPods Max

Among other things, watchOS 7.2 has the system requirements to use Apple Fitness +. The new health service from Apple will initially only be launched in a few markets, including the USA, Great Britain, Ireland and Australia.

Apple Fitness + is not yet available in Germany. The update to watchOS 7.2 also brings support for the new AirPods Max, which Apple introduced last week. Their delivery starts on December 15th.
