Start by downloading Avastclear from the official website here. If you do not want to click on a direct link, you can do the following:
- Go to Google and search for Avastclear
- Click on the top option with the link heading “Uninstall Tool for Avast | Download aswClear to take… ”

When the browser has indicated that the download is complete, the tool is on the hard disk.
2. Selectable: Check if Avastclear is secure

4. Run Avastclear from the hard disk
To run Avastclear, go to Windows Explorer and select the Downloads folder. Double-click the avastclear.exe executable file. Click the YES button when the UAC dialog box appears.
It is now extremely important that you check the two paths and select the correct version of Avast to be removed. The reason is that the selected folders are deleted regardless of what content is there.
Avastclear has preset default folders for the antivirus program. If you are absolutely sure that you have not selected another location, just select the correct version at the bottom and click “Uninstall”.
Wait for the process to complete and keep track of any dialog boxes that require your attention.
5. Restart the computer
When Avastclear indicates that the process is complete, restart your computer. Windows 10 will load in normal boot mode, so Safe Mode will NOT be used.
- Go to the Start menu> Click OFF / ON
- Select Restart
- Wait until Windows 10 reloads
