How to Pair AirPods with Macbook?

Step I: By keeping your Airpods inside, open the AirPods case.

Step II: Now, tap on the sound control button, located at the back of the case.

Step III: Now go to your MacBook, and open the Menu bar. Choose your Airpods device from the options. 

This will get you connected and you’ll be able to experience some realistic sounds without any disturbance. Turning on the Spatial Audio on your MacBook

For people, who use the 3rd generation of AirPods or even AirPods Pro or AirPods Pro Max, those devices use spatial audio that helps in creating an immersive surround music experience. Step II: Next, from your MacBook click on the AirPods icon, which you can access either in the Menu bar or in the Control Centre under the sound options. If it is not appearing, then you can also check in the System Preferences.

Step III: Now, click on any of the Spatial audio options appearing below. You can turn it on or off, which signifies turning on both Spatial audio and head tracking and turning off both of them respectively.

Also, there might be another option, which will come as – Head Tracked, which will also turn on both spatial audio and head tracking. Dynamic head tracking helps you to listen to the surround sound channels perfectly, even if you move your computer or your head. In other options, it might get hampered. Also, if you don’t want the spatial audio to follow the computer or your head’s movement, then turn off that option in the Audio accessibility preferences.

Changing the Noise Control Modes

You can also control the noise cancellation modes, i.e., either turning on noise cancellation or transparency from your MacBook, on the concerned Airpods models as mentioned before.

Step I: Access the AirPods Settings, by clicking on the AirPods icon either in the Sound Control center or in the Menu bar.

Step II: Click on Noise Cancellation to block out the external sounds, and Transparency to hear the sounds around you.

Step III: You can also click on OFF which will turn off both transparency and noise cancellation.
