Huawei has released new, genuine wireless in-ear headphones in the FreeBuds series. It is FreeBuds 4 that is here with a larger frequency range than before and large dynamic elements.

Charge 15 minutes – get 2.5 hours of battery life
If you activate the active noise reduction, the time is reduced to 2.5 hours of use, a time that you charge in the charging case in just 15 minutes.
When you put FreeBuds 4 in your ears for the first time, the inside of your ears is analyzed.
The technology is called “Adaptive Ear Matching” and FreeBuds 4 is according to Huawei the first in the world with that technology. By understanding what the ears look like, the noise reduction is optimized for the sound in the headphones and from your surroundings.
Huawei FreeBuds 4 uses dynamic drive elements of 14.3 millimeters and has a frequency range of 40 kHz.
The manufacturer believes that the new headphones can play high-resolution sound with good treble and bass without losing sound quality. However, it remains to be seen in future tests.
FreeBuds 4 has a low weight of 4.1 grams
Huawei FreeBuds 4 weighs only 4.1 grams which is vanishingly light. For example, it can be compared to AirPods Pro which weighs 5.4 grams per headphone, and Samsung Galaxy Buds + which weighs in at a full 6.4 grams (!).
The approximate price for FreeBuds 4 is SEK 1,490 and the headphones use Bluetooth. This means that although you can use them with iOS if you want, they are mainly adapted for Android users.
