It’s time for a new foldable phone from Huawei which this time folds with the screen inwards and reminds a lot of another foldable phone.
Then it was finally time for the Mate X2 to be presented, Huawei’s answer to how they think a foldable phone should be and this time we have a phone with a completely new design.
Mate X2 will this time be opened up as a book, like Galaxy Z Fold 2 and it is clearly a better solution than what they had before, important to protect the screen.
The hinges that are very important in these foldable phones have been developed completely from the ground up by Huawei and should be a solution similar to what Samsung uses.

If you look at the hardware, Huawei impresses as they have always done, they have several smart solutions for their foldable phone and the screen seems to deliver.
But even though all this is offered when it comes to hardware, the Mate X2 runs on Android 10, but unfortunately without any Google apps, this may not make the phone as attractive and if it even comes to us in Europe, a question many ask themselves .
In China, it will in any case be possible to pre-book the phone from 25 February and the price tag looks to start from around SEK 16,000.
