Samsung has previously released durable phones and now it’s time again, Galaxy XCover 5 which can handle really tough times with ok hardware.
When it comes to the more durable phones such as the Galaxy XCover 5, you should never expect the hardware in them to be too good or the latest.
We can start with the fact that the Galaxy XCover 5 is equipped with a housing that is really robust and can withstand tough conditions. Samsung has managed to get the phone to be IP68-rated but also MIL-STD810H-rated, which means that the phone must withstand a fall of 1.5 meters straight on concrete.
When it comes to hardware, it is, as I said, a perfectly ok phone, but not really what is in focus with a phone like Galaxy XCover 5.

Galaxy XCover 5 is probably not a phone anyone will buy or as we will see especially much outside companies with a little tougher jobs, but clearly interesting and fun that Samsung continues to develop these rugged phones.
The Galaxy XCover 5 will go on sale soon and the price tag is expected to end up at around 300 euros.
