There is more and more focus on Nothing now that their first product is approaching launch, now we know the price and a little technology.
The founder of Nothing, Carl Pei has in an interview with TechCrunch talked a bit about their philosophy with Nothing and their first product that looks like Ear 1.
A little else we found out about the current Ear 1 is that noise reduction will exist and has been a must from day one, the price tag also looks surprising and should only cost 99 euros according to Carl Pei.
“It’s going to have leading features like noise cancellation and great build quality. Because we’re primarily going to be focused on online sales channels, we are going to be able to [make it] – I would not say ‘affordable,’ but quite a fair price to consumers. With the Ear One, it’s a much more costly design to realize than a standard, non-transparent design. I think it’s going to be a good price at $ 99 USD, € 99 Euros and £ 99. Feature-wise, it’s similar to the AirPods Pro, but the AirPods Pro is $ 249. ”
We still do not know what Nothing Ear 1 will look like and what more surprises await us, but we will get an answer to all this on July 27.
