If you had hoped that Overwatch 2 or Diablo 4 would be released this year, we will unfortunately have to wait at least another year, what does that take?
Activision Blizzard has presented its latest quarter and given us a little insight into how the future may look and it may not be exactly what we had in mind.
Unfortunately, Blizzard does not seem to have any plans to release either Overwatch 2 or Diablo 4 in 2021, but this will be released in 2022 at the earliest as it looks now. However, Activision reveals that they have several mobile games in progress and one of them will take place in the Warcraft world.
It comes as no great surprise that Activision Blizzard chooses to invest in mobile games given the huge sums they actually earn on, for example, Call of Duty Mobile.
Activision Blizzard managed to turn over SEK 68.5 billion and a profit of SEK 18.6 billion, they really do not lack money.
This increase is largely due to the successful launch of Call of Duty and the fact that World of Warcraft has more or less made a comeback with Shadowland’s expansion and Classic.
