You can play on PC, Xbox, Playstation and Switch – but not macOS
Are you waiting for Diablo 2: Resurrected to be released? The remake version of Diablo 2 will be released on September 23 on several platforms – but Blizzard has chosen to exclude the Mac.
- Works on five game consoles and in Windows
- Will NOT work on macOS
- MacOS does not support 32-bit software
The reason why Diablo 2: Resurrected will not be released on Mac is simple. It is not possible to run 32-bit programs on newer versions of macOS.
It is not defensible – and in principle impossible – for Apple to update macOS Catalina, Big Sur and Monterey with support for 32-bit code.
To play Diablo 2: Resurrected, you must have one of the following platforms:
- PC
- Playstation 4
- Playstation 5
- Xbox One S / X
- Xbox Series X / S
- Switch
