Do you have a mobile phone in the brand new Galaxy S21 series and wonder if it supports HDR movies on Netflix?
Then you have come to the right place, because we have the answer further down.
To be able to watch HDR movies with your mobile phone, Netflix must have activated support for the model in its system. And that applies regardless of whether it is Android or iOS it uses.

And on January 29, 2021, Netflix activated just that for the entire Galaxy S21 series – which includes the Galaxy S21, S21 Plus and S21 Ultra.
Netflix also took the opportunity to activate the same HDR support for another, not quite as noticed mobile phone. Namely the middle class model TCL 20 5G.
And as long as you have a compatible mobile phone, you do not need to do anything to activate the HDR display yourself. As long as you have the right phone and Netflix’s most expensive subscription level, HDR material is automatically displayed where available.

It is worth noting that not all movies and series on Netflix support HDR. But many do, and if you also want to check in 4K resolution, the highest subscription level is a must.
