Apple has released an update to older iPhone and iPad models. It is iOS 12.5.4 and that content only fixes security.

The update with iOS 12.5.4 can be installed on the following devices today:
- iPhone 5s
- iPhone 6
- iPhone 6 Plus
- iPad Air
- iPad mini 2
- iPad mini 3
- iPod touch (6th generation)
The news in iOS 12.5.4
The update fixes three vulnerabilities:
- CVE-2021-30737
- CVE-2021-30761
- CVE-2021-30762
Two of the vulnerabilities are in WebKit, which is the engine of the Safari browser. The third is in the ASN.1 decoder that Apple uses in its gadgets.
