Soon you can get more and better detailed statistics about the battery consumption in Windows 10. A hidden feature in Windows 10 version 21313 has been found and it indicates that Microsoft can activate the news soon.
At the time of writing, Windows 10 version 21313 is only available as an Insider version. The software is thus not fully developed but may contain code that will be removed at a later time. However, this news seems to be implemented and ready to use.

With detailed statistics on battery consumption, it is easier for you who use a laptop to understand why the battery consumption is as it is. The new function shows data for both the last 24 hours and the last seven days.
We do not know why the function is hidden by default and must be activated manually. This is probably because the code is not completely secured and clear, and therefore may have bugs that need to be removed by Microsoft.
Note that it takes a while for the detailed battery statistics to actually report something after activation. The reason is of course that the system must start storing information about the use before anything can be reported.
The new feature comes with version 21313 later in 2021. The exact date is not known at the time of writing. The article is updated when we have more information.
