Do you use both TikTok and Spotify? Then you can get Spotify Premium completely free for four months – provided you are away in the right country and covered by the offer.
- Applies to only a few countries
- Difficult for Swedish users to take advantage of the offer
- Four months completely free with Spotify Premium
Few countries are covered by the Spotify Premium offer
In order to take advantage of the offer, you must use Spotify in a country covered.
The countries currently covered are the following:
If your account is registered in Sweden, you must first create a new account with Spotify for one of the markets above. This also applies to TikTok.
It is worth mentioning that the Spotify account may not have used a free offer before. This also applies to the 30-day trial period on Spotify Premium that new users receive.
How to take advantage of the free offer for Spotify Premium
- Make sure your Spotify account is registered in an approved market
- Check that your TikTok account is registered in an approved market
- Open the TikTok app on your mobile phone
- Go to the Rewards tab in the app
- Tap the Spotify Premium offer (if displayed)
Follow the instructions on the screen. It is not more difficult than that, but keep in mind that you who live in Sweden may not be able to take advantage of the offer in a simple way.
This is what Spotify themselves say about the offer
Marc Hazan is Vice President and Global Head of Premium Business at Spotify. This is what he says in a statement about the offer:
“As the world’s leading audio streaming service, we are thrilled to offer eligible TikTok users in several markets access to all the music and podcasts they love anytime, anywhere. Spotify connects artists and listeners in a way that was not possible before, building a diverse community of music fans driven by discovery and inspiration. We are proud to introduce TikTok’s enthusiastic and growing user base to the many benefits of Spotify Premium: millions of songs ad-free, on-demand, and offline. ”
It is of course sad that Sweden is not covered, considering that Spotify is, after all, based in our elongated country. With a little luck, we may be covered in the future when Spotify has other offers like this.
