Microsoft wants to buy the popular chat service Discord – and the price tag could be as high as $ 10 billion, according to a new report.
The website Bloomberg writes that Phil Spencer, who is primarily responsible for the Xbox, is in far-reaching talks with Discord about an acquisition.
According to information, several players have shown interest in buying Discord. The chat service has 140 million users every month and generated $ 130 million in revenue last year.

Discord will, according to The Wall Street Journal, still be drawn with blood-red numbers.
Maybe that’s why the service has opened up to be acquired. In addition to Microsoft, Bloombarg believes that Epic Games and Amazon are also (or have been) in the discussion about a purchase.
Discord is completely free for the normal user.
