Closure policy: Germany's companies in distress

The extreme shutdown policy in Germany Under Chancellor Angela Merkel, it is now stated that it will have fatal consequences for the country’s economy. In a recent survey by the German Chamber of Commerce, half of the companies report that they are in financial distress.

The high cash liquidity of German companies is judged to have been the reason why many companies survived the Merkel regime’s previous shutdowns of the corporate sector – but now as many as 20 percent of the German corporate sector state that they have problems with cash liquidity.
