Blackmail letter for illegals movie downloads now risks ending up with innocent clients after Telia incorrectly disclosed personal information to a suspicious law firm.
In recent years, several Swedes have received letters from the Danish law firm Njord Law Firm in which they threaten, among other things, debt collection or prosecution of people who are suspected of having been involved in illegal film downloads.
What the law firm has taken note of are the IP addresses and Telia has in turn provided personal information behind these IP addresses.
