Motorola has launched its fastest Moto G model ever. With the Moto G100, you get a really nimble Snapdragon processor from the 8-series, accompanied by a decent amount of RAM and storage space.
The new model has a large 6.7-inch screen with HDR10, but it does not use the latest screen technology. Among other things, you can forget the 90Hz support that many slightly newer mobile phones have today.
Below the screen is a fast Snapdragon 870 processor accompanied by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. If you have a memory card (microSD), you can use it to expand the storage further.
Moto G100 supports 5G and Ready For
For connection to the mobile network, you have both 4G and 5G to use. No weirdness there then. The operating system is Android 11 with some extra tweaks by Motorola itself.
One such extra thing that Motorola has included is support for Ready For.
It allows you to display the image from your G100 on a larger screen. All you need to do is connect the associated (and included) docking station. Perfect when receiving video calls, watching movies or playing.
On the back of the mobile phone is a 64 megapixel main camera, a macro camera and an ultra-wide angle.
On the front are two cameras – an ultra-angle here too, and a normal camera of 16 megapixels.
The Moto G100 costs around SEK 5,400
The approximate price for the Moto G100 is 450 pounds, which is recalculated to approximately SEK 5,400. A bit above what we expect a Motorola Moto phone to cost. Motorola has long marketed most models in the series around SEK 2,500 to 3,500, or less.
Moto G100 is released on the European and Latin American market right now. Those who live in the American market, however, may be left out this time. Motorola has no plans to release the new model there.
