Apple has withdrawn Beta 3 of iOS 14.5 and iPadOS 14.5 for unknown reasons.
Apple has just released the third beta of iOS 14.5 and iPadOS 14.5 for developers. Registered developers can now download and install the new beta directly on their iPhone or iPad as usual. if the update is not displayed immediately, wait a moment.
The third beta of iOS 14.5 and iPadOS 14.5 follows two weeks after the distribution of the second test version of the upcoming update.
iOS 14.5 brings new functions for Apple Watch and iPhone users
With the update to iOS 14.5, Apple will, among other things, introduce the practical innovation of being able to unlock the iPhone with Face ID using a mask. However, this requires both an Apple Watch, which must be unlocked and worn on the arm, and watchOS 7.4, which is currently also in beta. The second eBeta also brought some innovations.
It is not yet known which changes or new features Beta 3 will bring with it. If something interesting arises here, we will submit it immediately.
watchOS and tvOS haven’t received any new betas yet, but it was Beta 3 from macOS Big Sur 11.3 distributed to the developers.
