Sony has now shown off what the controls for their next generation VR headset will look like.

The new hand controls are very similar to other headsets’ hand controls, which is positive and we have an ergonomic design with buttons and levers that are easily accessible to most people.
Just like Dualsense which came with the PS5, the buttons on the new controller will have adaptive triggers and we get better haptic feedback. Not entirely unexpectedly, perhaps the tracking will be significantly better from the new hand controls than before.
Unfortunately, we still do not know about the headset itself or when it will be released, but it is no secret anymore that Sony has come a long way in development and would not surprise me if they are done with the headset but that they are waiting for sales of Playstation 5 to stabilize and are in stock.

● Finger touch detection: The controller can detect your fingers without any pressing in the areas where you place your thumb, index, or middle fingers. This enables you to make more natural gestures with your hands during gameplay.
● Tracking: The VR controller is tracked by the new VR headset through a tracking ring across the bottom of the controller.
● Action buttons / analog sticks: The Left controller contains one analog stick, the triangle and square buttons, a “grip” button (L1), trigger button (L2) and Create button. The Right controller contains one analog stick, the cross and circle buttons, a “grip” button (R1), trigger button (R2) and Options button.
